Someone has drawn a flower a day, every day, for his partner, between 2021 and 2023.

  • Colors, Summer, Calmness

    Howdy! It’s been a while…

Work as been insane these past few months… so I didn’t have the energy to post on the blog… but I did some great discoveries!

Now I’m on vacation and organize what I have collected and discovered recently. It makes me happy, it cultivates the things I love the most.

Until now, I posted each time I wanted to share something, but I want to try a new format : the newsletter one.

I want to discover in the week, and at the end organize all I have collected into a beautiful mail letter.

So… for now… You can’t subscribe to anything, because I just want to try this new format without all the hassle of choosing a newsletter provider. I just want to start simple. But if I like the format, there’s going to be a real newsletter!

Anyway, here’s the first issue about summer, calmness and colors

    Subway Maps

Subway maps are beautiful, aren’t they? They’re colorful and convey liberty and adventure (or am I going to far?)

Simple and colorful clothing and shoes

I’m in the process of renewing my clothes (since mine are getting more and more close to a pile of junk).

I don’t care about graphics, I don’t want to have a BIG logo on them, I love functionality and simplicity. And I want them to be produce sustainably and ethically (good work conditions, wages…)

I found two brands who seem to match my criteria, Colorful Standard for the clothes and Ubac for the shoes.

I love the concept of Colorful Standard! The same shirt available in A LOT of shades of colors. That’s it.

The clothes are produce in Portugal with organic cotton (more on that) and the shoes are also made in Portugal with recycled whool. (more on that)

    Thomas Jackson

Stumbled upon the photos of Thomas Jackson on Colossal. Beautiful!

    26 000 Days

    Stunning images!

“This is the story of Eric Tucker, an airshow pilot who turns most pilots’ nightmare into a beautiful dance. Through flying dead-stick–turning his own engine off and falling out of the sky–Eric confronts the challenge of how to make the most of life and live without regret.”

    This Summer Feeling

I loved the calm the movie convey, and the deep emotions it makes me feel, the images are beautiful. Also, it can’t have a better name.

    Synopsis from Letterboxd

“In high summer, Sasha suddenly dies. Her death brings two virtual strangers, her boyfriend Lawrence and sister Zoé, closer together, sharing their grief and the burden of their loss in Berlin, Paris and New York.”

Some music : Madeon – Adventure

Honestly, I can’t think of a better album to accompany this newsletter than Adventure from Madeon. It’s electric music but with a lot of colors… and adventures in it.

Fun fact: Madeon is from France, like me (from Nantes, to be more specific) (although I’m from Toulouse)

(one of my favorite track of the album : La Lune (feat. Dan Smith)

  • Chad Muska interview

This interview is so refreshing! I didn’t know Chad Muska before, but what is doing right now with bootstrapping his “fashion” company, while running his farm, with all this indie vibes in it. It’s so, SO cool!
